Brush produces magnetic heads that, as part of ATM machines, read the information stored on the magnetic stripe on ATM cards enabling 24 hour banking transactions. In this application, high contact pressures, dirt, and abrasive cards reduce head life. Brush credit card magnetic heads with solid Supermium® cores, extend head life in many cases by a factor of 18:1. Wear rate and long life are predictable allowing both reduced and scheduled maintenance. Savings from fewer service calls and reduced equipment downtime can be significant. Meets ISO, ABA, and Thrift standards. |
